I grew up in Italy, where life meant working hard, paying the bills, and stayed inside the lines. No one ever asked me "what do you want to be? "
- only "what do you need
to do ? "
So that's what I did. Practicality over dreams. Existing, more than living .
Photography was my escape room.
The one place I could look at the world differently — not through obligation, but through wonder.
Everything changed when I met my husband. he opened my eyes and my heart, and together we moved to Australia. No expectations. A new language, a new life. I became a childcare educator, and through it all, I never let go of my camera.
Then came our two boys. Watching them dream freely, explore fearlessly, and believe in magic showed me something I'd missed my whole childhood: that life is precious, that it's beautiful, and that we're allowed to want more from it.
They didn't just give me a family.
They gave me permission
to dream.
